About us....

Ensign Plastic Moulders was founded in 1984 by Victor Lewis, after eleven years providing a service to the plastics industry through his other company, Briton Plant Installation Ltd. Servicing and installing new machinery Victor realised that there was a unique opportunity in providing extra capacity to established companies, so formed Ensign and invested in new Demag machines.

In 1983 Lee joined his brother and father with the continuing growth of the company. Assuming the responsibility of Production Director, a position he retained until the services of Chris Chappell, our present Manufacturing Director, were acquired.

Collectively the directors have over 100 years experience in the industry covering toolmaking, hydraulic engineering, electrical engineering and electronics. With this knowledge down time is minimised since we are able to effect all forms of maintenance and repairs in house.
